Prosegue la guerra commerciale tra Cina e Stati Uniti: ieri Pechino ha annunciato l’introduzione di dazi per 5078 prodotti americani importati dal valore complessivo di 75 miliardi di dollari.”Il Comitato per le tariffe del Consiglio di Stato cinese ha deciso di introdurre commissioni aggiuntive del 10% e 5%”, si legge in un comunicato del dicastero delle Finanze cinese. Questa mossa è una risposta alla decisione di Washington di imporre dazi del 10% sulle importazioni di beni cinesi per 300 miliardi di dollari. Come i dazi americani, le nuove aliquote cinesi saranno applicate rispettivamente a partire dal 1° settembre e 15 dicembre.
“Le azioni erronee degli Stati Uniti hanno portato ad ulteriori tensioni in campo economico-commerciale, minando seriamente gli interessi non solo della Cina e degli Stati Uniti, ma di tutto il mondo”, si evidenzia nel comunicato.
Inoltre Pechino introdurrà nuovamente dazi addizionali del 25% e del 5% su automobili e componenti americani, ha affermato il ministero delle Finanze cinese.
Subito è arrivata la reazione di Trump via Twitter.
“Il nostro Paese ha perso stupidamente, miliardi di dollari con la Cina per molti anni. Hanno rubato la nostra proprietà intellettuale per centinaia di miliardi di dollari all’anno e vogliono continuare. Non permetterò che accada! Non abbiamo bisogno della Cina e, francamente, è lontana…” Trump ha inoltre chiesto alle aziende statunitensi di cercare alternative alla Cina nel loro business.
