Così titola un articolo pubblicato il 18 Ottobre 2019 su La Repubblica. Solo considerando i bambini sotto i 5 anni 15mila morti AL GIORNO, lasciamo o ognuno immaginare il numero totale di morti che ogni giorno purtroppo sono il risultato di guerre, fame e malattie.
Ansa oggi (Mercoledì) titola così:
Coronavirus, superati i 200.000 contagiati e 8.000 morti
In queste settimane 8mila morti, nessuno ovviamente vuole togliere importante alla morte di anche solo una persona. Ma è chiaro di come i numeri siano impietosi e di come la morte di 15mila bambini AL GIORNO sotto i 5 anni non abbia destato un allarme quantomeno analogo a questo! Inutile ricordare le responsabilità dei nostri paesi occidentali nel generare e mantenere guerre e forti disuguaglianze nel mondo.
Ognuno secondo la sua sensibilità tragga le proprie conclusioni, ci sarà chi capirà e chi storcerà il naso ma ora stiamo iniziando a sperimentare anche noi occidentali la stessa sorte che per anni direttamente o indirettamente abbiamo causato nei paesi più poveri e in guerra.
