A comunicarlo è la Commissione Parlamentare Antimafia in una Relazione sull’attività delle mafie durante l’emergenza da Covid 19, svolta da Palazzo San Macuto e sulle altre associazioni criminali. “Le diverse organizzazioni agiscono lungo due direttrici – si legge nel documento –, con una strategia conservativa volta a mantenere il controllo e rafforzare tanto la presenza nei settori economici già abbondantemente infiltrati, quanto il controllo sociale sui territori e i gruppi sociali con una strategia di attesa delle occasioni”. Secondo la Relazione “tutto questo è possibile grazie alla gigantesca disponibilità di denaro accumulato, di liquidità presente nelle mani dei mafiosi, al cospetto di un Paese che si va impoverendo ulteriormente con un tasso pari al 6,4 per cento secondo i dati dell’Istat. Senza tema di smentita possiamo parlare di un vero e proprio attacco allo Stato”.
