La Procura della Repubblica di Agrigento, con a capo Luigi Patronaggio, ha aperto un’inchiesta sul viaggio e sul maxi sbarco di 539 migranti a Lampedusa. Non si tratta del classico fascicolo sul favoreggiamento dell’immigrazione clandestina, che viene aperto ad ogni sbarco, indirizzato ad individuare i possibili traghettatori di uomini. Appare scontato in questo caso – dell’attività investigativa si stanno occupando Guardia di Finanza e Squadra Mobile – che per imbarcare tutte quelle persone (539 appunto) su un unico barcone vi sia dietro un’organizzazione che ha magari prima tenuto, in qualche centro-lager, gli egiziani, siriani, magrebini e subsahariani. Alcuni, fra l’altro, secondo quanto evidenziato dai medici di Msf, avrebbero sul corpo segni di violenza, segnali riconducibili verosimilmente ad una possibile prigionia.
